Joining ASRP connects you with peers across Washington who are committed to strengthening the senior housing and care referral field. Members gain access to information, educational opportunities, shared best practices, and local networking that supports both professional development and industry collaboration.
Senior Referral Professional Membership
Senior Referral Professional Membership is available to companies that provide referral services to the senior housing and care industry in Washington. Membership is tied to the company rather than an individual employee.
To qualify for membership, companies must comply with the Elder and Vulnerable Adult Placement Referral Agency Act, RCW 18.330. Compliance includes, but is not limited to, the following requirements:
Disclosure of services
Authorization to obtain and release medical information
Intake form
Community or provider profiles updated every 12 months
Contracts with providers and a clear refund policy
Appropriate insurance
Employee background checks
Understanding of provider credentials and enforcement status
Compliance with all record-keeping requirements
Awareness that the company and its employees are Mandatory Reporters
A Senior Referral Professional Membership provides the company with one voting influence on Association matters. Up to three employees may be listed under the membership.
Code of Ethics
Member companies must comply with the ASRP Code of Ethics. The Code outlines expectations for transparency, communication, and responsible referral practices within the senior housing and care community.
Member companies are responsible for understanding the ASRP Bylaws, which outline the structure, governance, and responsibilities of the Association.

Affiliate Membership
Affiliate Membership is available to companies that support the work of referral professionals or provide products or services within the senior housing and care industry in Washington. Examples include care providers, service organizations, and industry partners.
Affiliate Membership is tied to the company rather than an individual employee. Affiliate Members do not have voting influence on Association matters. Up to two employees may be listed under the membership.
ASRP values the insight and experience of its Affiliate Members, and the Association continues to explore ways to strengthen collaboration with these partners.
